This is an old authentic necklace from Nagaland in Northeastern India. Beautiful red glass trade beads to such a stunning and lovely effect! This necklace has a wonderful beaded pattern at the closure. The closure is a handmade metal buttons.

Nagaland is home to some of the most amazing tribal dress. The Naga people practiced headhunting through the 1900s and may still in parts of Burma! Do a google image search for Naga people for a visual feast.

These are becoming increasingly rare and hard to find.
